    That's a mobo feature built onto its self nothing you can do about that, now I'm AMD guy but only use asus mobos so it should be about the same, if you have an unlock multiplier CPU you can try auto OC to get some more performance out of your CPU, hope I help.

    Are you planning on OC your processor ? If so what's your target ghz ? If not oc'ing and you just want to monitor your PC those programs should be fine, you may want to look in your motherboard support cd for any additional hardware monitoring software.

    Driver Disc that came bundle with the motherboard should be under utilities

    Use hwmonitor for temps and fans speed, use ctrl+alt+del to view memory and CPU usage, hope it help.
