This hss not worked for me hoping for another solution.

I am having similar problem with new HP laptop, losing power at about 3%/day or dead in 30 days. Two year old Toshiba held power for more that 3 months in shutdown but unfortunetly went unexpectable dead by maybe falling over in the carry bag. HP has no good explanation for the power drain...
