I'd personally take the Helios predator, the 2tb HDD +SSD is still in budget. My experience of hp and dell's is being overloaded with chunks of bloatware which its a tough time to remove. Further in the buyers questions its a non NVME SSD in the dell. Unless you really want that T3 connector....

and manually edited the settings in advanced config? the drop down simple setting list doesnt touch it all

No no, I didn't look up the model beforehand, my old laptop had a removable battery and just popping it out fixed it for me because it no longer detected the "empty" battery. It's still worth looking into the power management settings in control panel though. Adjust them to high performance...

If its removable, try removing the battery and running off mains, it sounds like its tripping the low battery power saving settings on wake, so you can try disabling all of those in the power management tab and see where that gets you.
