    Lenovo ThinkPad on but black screen

    After being in sleep mode, my laptop turns on, I can hear Windows boot up. However, the screen stays lit but black. I'm unable to get the screen to work. It turns on but is blank. I've tried the battery, power cord, f8, f11, etc. Nothing seems to help.
