i got 2 days ago a £150 robot window cleaner. it has the same m.o. as the winbot - you fill a wee reservoir and it squirts and buffs over your window. it doesn't do a great job and I'm thinking of returning it, it reminds me of the early robovacs that mopped by dragging a wet rag behind them...

You need to understand some physics... Not everything has the same IR emission profile. A kitchen IR temperature gun will be calibrated closest to the 'black body' emission profile because you will likely aim it at your cast-iron pan to check its temperature. A thermal imaging camera will be...
