it might be worth to check out the asus 'repulblic of gamers' series. They got top spec's for a good price. I have had an asus G73Jh for many year and it was brilliant! mousepad was crap, when i picked up that heavy monster with one hand i thought it was gonna break in two, but it never failed...

sounds like your battery is broken. Buy a new one and all your problems are solved. Maybe you can go to a store that has the battery and try it out so you are sure that solves your problem...
