To answer ur first question that laptop is great for Maxing out games but isn't worth paying all that money for because you could get a better gaming pc for that money and your current laptop isn't that bad, tbh I'd stick with that for the time being and get a gaming pc

If it has gone black its most likely that you have also broken the LCD screen that's underneath the glass, so you will have to get it replaced.
