    I have tried all the suggestions and still nothing. The only thing I can suggest is to get a cheap one off eBay and swap the hard drive over so you can access your work then sell your old one as spares to cover cost of replacement. Apparently Hp are beggars for doing this

    i was using it and it was ok went out of room came back and it had switched itself off now black screen please what can it be
