    Photo editing software: Picasa I can't figure out how Picasa converts the Memorial weekend pics/CR2 files to JPEG. Thank you for your advise: I changed the camera quality mode to both RAW and JPEG. Thank you for taking the time to answer.

    I found the answer to my own question. The photos were CR2 files. For future photos, I changed the camera quality setting from RAW to jpeg. I still have to convert the pictures.

    I just bought a canon rebel eos T6i. The pictures I took yesterday looked great when viewed in the camera. When downloaded to the PC, there was a mauve "screen" over the whole photo. If you know how to remove the "screen" to unmask the true colors please share how. Thank you.
