No it won't work. As VGA is analog and HDMI is digital.

First of all I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, neither am I asking how to get bios password. I recently got a free Toshiba Satellite Pro L20 (2005 model, if I'm right.) and it's pretty slow. For regular office work it's good enough but I want to squeeze just the extra juice...
