I cannot comment on the MSI, though I hear that model is a beast. I have a Lenovo y500 SLI 650m (refurb) that I am returning and replacing with a y510p since it was damaged (only cosmetically) in shipping. I loved the y500 and am sure the y510p will perform better. For the price I'm not sure...
