You must be joking. Mobile games with their simple lighting, low polygon count, so-so textures and simplistic controls can not compare to the games on PSV.

Go to the mouse settings in "Control Panel" and check the options for the software that controls the touchpad, such as Synaptics. You can also launch the settings by double clicking it's notification icon, if it has one.

Have you tried to repair the OS with the Windows installation disc or perhaps the system restore option?

Have you tried leaving the laptop on for a while to see if it eventually boots? If that doesn't work I would suggest that you back up your important stuff first, either by booting into Safe Mode or by using an external USB enclosure. You could also try a repair with the Windows installation disc.

Is your laptop overheating? Does it shut off in the BIOS as well as in Windows? You can use HWMonitor to check your temps.

The Warranty is for manufacturing defects or parts failure, not damage caused by the user. Had the screen been broken when you took the laptop out of the box, then you could have taken it back to the store or perhaps send it to Acer, but I doubt they will do anything six months after purchase.
