    You were right on! I had already removed everything but the motherboard. When I did and turned it over - there is was - BATT1 - a soldered in battery. Thanks.

    I've taken this thing apart, removed everything but the motherboard from the bottom casing. Can't find anything that looks like a battery. Anyone have a clue?
