    About Lenovo Thinkpad Edge's durability

It definitely is durable, my friend's got one (E 530) and the thing not only feels solid but also looks damn good. The rugged looks of the laptop alongside with it's awesome matte screen was the reason he bought it and after laying my hands on it I can say the thing is much more reliable and...

Lenevo y580 or Acer Aspire V3-771G-6851?

I have the MSI equivalent of the Acer and I must say, quality wise it is much better than the V3. So if you are considering the V3, you may wanna have a look at MSI CX61 which has identical hardware (slightly more powerful GPU) but a superior build quality...

    Laptop questions

Forget upgrading because even if it was possible, a T9900 wouldn't sill be enough for animation rendering. Either get a powerful Desktop or at least get an i5 laptop with a decent GPU and no less than 6GB of ram if you want to ensure performance.

Deciding on which Laptop to get!

If you don't have a problem with it look a bit dull (compared to HP ENVYs of course), then I recommend MSI CX61. A newer generation of i5s (Ivy Bridge) plus a much more powerful GPU which can even handle hardcore games at HD resolution all for $700. MSI CX61 - $699.99...

    Y580 or MSI GE60

Well what you read on the internet are always reports of crashes and things like that because if the thing works fine nobody bothers to report it on the forums. Keep in mind that thousands and thousands of laptops are being sold everyday, and all those crashing and faulty units aren't even 1...

    Y580 or MSI GE60

See GE60 by itself is a good laptop but when you compare it to something like Y580 it really doesn't stand a chance. GE60 is supposed to be a budget gaming laptop (if there's such thing), yet the Y580 is a high end product with awesome build quality. If you ask me, there's no logical reason for...

~1200$ Gaming laptop. Which one do I choose?

Almost every nvidia graphic card have optimus technology so no worries there. But given the specs, I think there's no doubt that the Sager is a better choice. GTX 670mx is about as good as laptop graphics get and for this relatively less price you also get a matte FHD screen which is really...

Looking for laptop ASAP - big keys, big screen, law school

Check out Asus N55SL. I've typed on it and the keyboard is actually pretty good. Here's a pic from the keyboard specifically: http://www.notebookcheck.net/typo3temp/pics/5ddbd84e67.jpg As you can see, numpad keys are made smaller and so is the Enter key to make other keys bigger. The whole...

I am looking for a laptop within $600-650 USD.

Well based on your needs, I think this would be a really good choice: http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-U57A-15-6-750GB-Laptop/dp/B008QAPH0E Very well-built and also light and thin. A powerful CPU with HD 3000 graphics which is not bad at all. Still, if your 3D works are heavy, then you might...

    Laptop recommendations please

The Asus you mentioned not only looks good but also is powerful enough to run most games at high settings. It's a good thing that you are avoiding HP and Acer but just to give you an idea of what you can buy at this price range: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834246628...

    Quick mid-high end notebook advice

Man Korean language is so... unique! I didn't understand anything from the links :D Anyway, the truth is neither GT 645m nor 650m are for hardcore gaming and there are some games that will easily bring them to their knees specially in your FHD native resolution. If gaming is just recreational...

    Xperia Pro or Xperia U?

Actually the prices here in Iran are soaring. So now I 'm considering the best options at this price point. I'm lookin to buy Xperia Sola or P. these are almost at the same price range at ~ $280 for Sola and ~ $330 for P. Just to give you an idea of the chaotic market here, the now old and slow...

    Amd a8 4555 APU vs 3rd gen core i3

Well I didn't say it is "so bad". I said it's weak and the fact that it's running NFS or other games doesn't change that. I have a Core2Duo E7500 desktop and it can play almost everything, even GTA IV at high but if you compare that to an i3, you'll realize how weak it actually is. Keep in mind...

    Which laptop should I consider

Well I don't know about the prices in india but as for the hardware, you'll be fine with an i3 and no, you don't need a dedicated graphic card for that. Honestly, you have very general expectations from your laptop: good display, good sound quality, less heat. These are heavily dependent on your...

    Compare toshiba vs asus

I think the least you could do was to specify for what purposes do you want to use your laptop. Anyway, the Asus is far more superior in terms of processing power and probably build quality. The Toshiba is powerful enough for everyday usage like internet, email, watching movies, some office...
