    Which updates are you thinking caused the issue, Windows ones or from the Dell site? If not sure, go to the Dell site, locate your machine, check if there are new/better driver and BIOS/UEFI for your machine, and install them.

    Question I am trying to share my internet connection from my laptop but it is not working.... what will I do?

    You need to set up a HOTSPOT network on your phone (uses you cellular network data), and then connect your laptop to THAT hotspot network. I assume you want to do that when away from your home WiFi connection, and treat your own phone hotspot as a secure connection?
