When I connect my laptop to TV via HDMI cable, I have sound on laptop but not through TV
Right click on the volume/speak in the lower right hand corner. click playback tab, right click on the speaker or what every shows up in that box. click show disabled devices then your disabled devices will apear. Right click on the tv monitor, click enable. It just worked for me.- tdawn
