some tvs use the green or blue as yellow for red white yellow. My vizio used I think the green as yellow if that was all you had. should be in the manual or on the back it will say like R G/Y B

is it a led/lcd? shine a light on it and see if you can see the pic.

they are cheap throw away tvs be easier to get a new one. You might get lucky if your good at soldering you can open up the back and look for blown capacitors.

you can try to unplug it for about an hour if it doesn't help I would suspect the power board is bad which is common with those tvs

does your tv not already have the digital tuner built in? If its a smart tv I would guess it already has one and you would not need the box just hook antenna to the tv. As for the sound do you have the correct input selected?

did it show anything when booting or did it stay black? if it stayed black could be the back light has gone out you can check by shining a light on the screen and see if you can see the desktop.

that means its not detecting your hard drive either it has come loose or has died would be my guess.

yes just put the supported video file on the flash drive plug in to usb port and it should pop up then just hit play. the product manual has the list of supported video codecs.
