I stay away from drives bigger then 2GB. I ve had almost all my USB drives stop working on me. Maybe its just bad luck, I don't know... Using a 1GB drive given to me for free and it has yet to break! USB drives are too sensitive at the interface or something. Be careful lol!

Time to retire my dv6000 through ebay and purchase a new lappy. I am going mobility first everything else second and have chosen the HP Pavilion tx2500z. here are the specs, let me know what I can change for the better. -Upgrade to Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1...

any laptop with a 8600m will be good for you. I suggest HP and ACER

I always have to scroll back and forth to pinpoint the single track. changing the volume is a pain as when you remove your finger the sensitive wheel keeps changing.

I'm sick and tired of player mimicing the Ipod wheel. I hate using the wheel and prefer buttons to click to raise volume and search.

The laptop in my sig is from HP DV6000 it was under $1200. Right... and as I said, no where does anyone I found have what I bought for less. If your referring to the Go7400 it is marginally at best better than the Go7300 which incidentally for some silly reason cost $30 more than the Mobility...

Thats a horrible temp for a laptop. 50-55C should be max heat. Anything over that is dangerously hot for your cpu and ur groind ;). low usage of cpu should give you 40-45C

Because HP needes to give variety and since 14.1" fits into the mobile category, they will not offer. Good news The size of the 15" is almost the same as the 14 with the exception of the weight.

there is so many to choose from... Heres what to look for. 2 fans not necessarily big ones. power from usb of laptop and not ac adapter medium size, not small or large adjustable fan speed a plus find a cooler like this and it will bring down temps 5C

The system below is my laptop... its HP pavilion dv6000 total price was $1100 I love it and as far as gaming goes, I'm sure it can play Doom3 and half life on medium. X3 gave me 25 fps and that game is heavy on the graphics.
