    ok, never mind. I just found a procedure online to do a "soft reset." It consists of holding the power and volume down buttons for quite awhile. And it seems to have worked. Fingers crossed! Thanks all!

    Question I have two Roku remotes. One controls the volume, and on/off. The other controls the channels. Is there a way I can get one remote to do both?

    More information might be needed. What did you upgrade? The remotes? A Roku device? A Roku TV? It sounds like neither remote is/was paired correctly. Maybe just pick one remote and pair it from scratch?
