Xotic is very well-established and respected. They're quite good. Sadly, I live in Canada so it's a no go for me. But I'd definitely go for a cooling modded MSI right now if I could.

I figure though that you're not apt to do graphic design work on a 15.6" laptop screen. That's when you'd plug in an external monitor with higher res and better colour accuracy and contrast etc. And for the price difference, you could probably buy a pretty wicked external monitor of a higher...

I am looking at a few different laptops that I will be using for productivity and some gaming. I tend to hold on to laptops for a few years so I want it to be somewhat futureproof. My question is whether or not the extra resolution is going to be worth the 500 - 600$ that separates the laptops...
