Used a new program called SUPERAnti-Spyware which seems to have completely removed the virus. Finally!

I've tried that as well, still no luck.

I used a program called Reason Core Security and the issue was gone while it was scanning but as soon as it was done, it came back. I don't know what to do anymore.

I've tried both of those things many times and no success. They don't detect anything and the browser doesn't get fixed.

For the past day my Chrome browser has been infected with a virus called play-bar.net that keeps redirecting me to spam websites and puts an extra search bar on the new tab page, and I've done everything possible to try and get rid of it but nothing I do seems to work. None of my anti-viruses...
