i agree on mcafee. i hate it. and avg. but avast let me down. ill check out the one you sujested thanks for the help.

well today i got online and my apps are now working so it must have been with google chrome. thanks guys for all your input.

i have tried everything. i have even uninstalled avast and installed mcafee and that fixed the pop up warning but i still cant see my apps in new tab plus. they are white and the only way i can tell what app is what is by hoovering over the app for the name of that app to show up.
