bad luck... you could try to reset the BIOS to default settings. That should work directly from the BIOS or by pulling out the BIOS Battery (normally a small CR2032 on the mainboard, but if your out of luck then its soldered). I don't know if your external monitor displays the BIOS options...

Seems to me like a disconnected monitor cable if the screen is not detected anymore. The laptop screen is most likely connected with a flat ribbon connector to the laptop mainboard and sometimes it comes loose. You could try to disassemble the Laptop and check the connection if you want. Here...

Well not really a suggestion for another laptop, but the link to the MSI one you posted looks wierd.... only in stock in a store that has almost no posivie reviews, different descriptions in the title and in the details.... If you choose this one at least buy it somewhere else. Looks like a scam...

I don't have that laptop but the site notebookcheck (german webside) states that the laptop has a free 2280 m.2 slot, so the card should fit. If you are not sure then just open the case and measure the length from the soket to the holding screw. 2280 only means 22mm wide and 80mm long.

The msi-gt72-dominator-pro seems to be a 17" Model, so that sort of disqualifies it for me, but the xoticpc-site has a lot of other good choises to consider THX
