What kind of games will you be playing? you could get a cheap laptop ( i would suggest a t100 or a chromebook) and separate machine for gaming. T100+ps4= 700 dollars. The t100 does not have the nicest keyboard however. Its a tough price point.

It's personal preference but i prefer andriod. It really depends on how much you care about your phone and use it's smart functions. Android is more like a pc and ios is like a mac in terms of customization and price. Best andriod phone I would say is either the lg g3 or sony xperia z3.
