What you two have said is very true, but remember that the OP still has to buy an SSD, which means extra costs. The dell already comes with an SSD. I'm not a laptop guy, so I'll leave it to the other guys. They probably know more than me.

The 840m is notably faster than the m330. Get the i5 with the 840m. Whether you need and i7 or not really depends on what you are going to use the laptop for, but chances are that you need a better gpu more than an i7 cpu.
