I tried all of the suggestions here for an Acer Aspire V3-372-518V and in the end the only thing that worked was updating the BIOS to v.1.8 (from the supplied v. 1.5) which can be downloaded from the Acer support site. How come my laptop which was delivered yesterday had the old BIOS I cannot...
