Hi there. It's a Dell desktop, Windows XP....but all sorted today ....it was a simple slightly dodgy/loose cable problem. Sorted that, and it's been fine ever since. Thanks for your reply though. Cheers

Intermittently but now very frequently as i record with Audition 1.5, the audio jumps forward and misses. Basically it records parts of my vocal recording but misses out bits.. so i get chunks of missing audio when I play back. i'm wondering if I need an upgrade but whilst I can hold my own...
