Technically this is an lcd screen on a laptop. I replaced the big board with ribbons and cables that connects the lcd to the motherboard ("The video cable"). I highly doubt the ports are the culprit, I wouldn't rule it out but if that is the case, I need a new motherboard. I'd like to see if...

Except that I replaced "the connection that comes from the monitor". But basically yeah, I was thinking it was the LCD aswell but was hoping someone more knowledgable than me or with past experience with this same problem could shed some light on this.
