I've been looking at the y410p, but the battery life seems subpar to atrocious, depending on who's giving the judgment. I'd prefer a real life 4+ hours.

Has anyone seen any $1000 laptops with an SSD and 8 gb of ram with a decent display and battery life? I'd like the 8 gb so it's solid for 4ish years of use. I don't really need more than 128 gb on an ssd, but I'd like to have the performance and boot times that SSDs deliver. Also, 13.3" is my...
