    I agree with the Vostro. It should be reliable. Dell generally has pretty good laptops.

    You could get a Dell XPS but they're overpriced in my opinion, same with other companies. It might not be a beast, but another option is Dell's Inspiron/Vostro with a 8600GT...it's the best deal I've seen on Dell's site.

    Thank you. And yes, I had planned to stick in the old ram if an issue ever came up. So, opening up the laptop and replacing ram does not void the warranty?
