No it will not work as you still need the disk to play the game even when it is downloaded onto your xbox.

I know how to get the mic working but what cables do I need to get the sound working? I've tried using the opticle cable but when I do the sound is really bad and makes really loud weird noises making anything on my PC unable to hear. Does anyone know a fix for this and if not what other cables...
