    Acer Aspire 5742 won't turn on

    When I switch my laptop on it gets to the ''Acer'' screen'and then turns itself off, then restarts and gets to the same page and turns itself off again. It does this repeatedly. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could solve this? Many Thanks in advance, Tony
