    Acer Ferrari 1000 charge port broken

    My Acer fell off a coffee table & fell on the charge port area & cracked the shell around it & now it wont charge. Can I just replace the charge port or must I change the motherboard? I tried a battery from another Ferrari 1000 and the it powers up but won't charge.
