    We tried with a T450 and HOTS worked very smoothly but the T420 did not (unplayable).

    The one BacActor mentioned is better for games and the one I mentioned has the battery life, the lenovo has a 6 hours real battery life and the dell mentioend from Badactor is about 2.5, gaming will reduce life even further with both laptops.
