Into a "KIND OF VR" I have got an Oculus and I do have a Google cardboard, I would say VR on a phone is more a "kind of" demonstration of what VR is about, nothing more!

I would never suggest 7.1 to anyone... it is only emulated and it sucks! If you need to get a 5.1 or 7.1 get it "true" so with multiple speakers... I do have an entry level Trust 5.1 (True) headset and I love them, they are not "perfect" but for gaming they do the job really well and the 5.1...

Shame that ROKU service is crap...they never support older product, worse than Apple does!

If you want to try 3D graphic....go and check Blender www.blender.org/‎ free and for this reason you can find a tons of video and tutorial online from the community :) I am learning 3D Graphic too :)
