I would recommend the MSI GE70. It has a 17" screen while the y50 only has a 15.6" screen. If screensize is important go with the GE70.

I would say around 30+ fps for all of them BUT watchdogs. Watchdogs has been performing poorly on SLI. However, there should be a patch to fix this.

Most games for laptop gaming are not SLI compatible. So the single gtx 880m would be better for heat, performance, as well as price.

Actually mibix19, that's not true. Autocad requires a quad core CPU. However I do agree with the idea of buying a good plotter.

Personally I am a ASUS gamer. However, I have owned Lenovo, HP, and MSI gaming laptops. I perferred the ASUS by far, the build quailty is superior.

Does it have to be HP or lenovo? With $1400 dollars you can buy a nice Asus or MSI gaming laptop, which are far better than hp or Lenovo. However, if you are stuck between the two of them I would go with Lenovo.

Do you have a brand and screen size preferance? If not, I would recommand the MSI CX61. For a sub $700 gaming laptop it's pretty good. :)
