its worth trying to change only the faulty capacitor.. if it didn't work then you could change the board if you are sure that this is the reason

It might be between $300-$400 including shipment. However, such big part is very very risky and most of the times you receive it broken. Also, when the mirror broke, most probably it damaged the lens or the screen. So it is better to buy another new TV.

it might be the main board, no one can be sure 100% unless examine the capacitors in the board. Unfortunately, the new TVs life span in about two or two and half years.
