A "Smart Grid" isn't about utility companies controlling *distribution* as one would typically understand the term. It's about controlling *usage* . . . whether by who gets to use it (ie, distribution), the absolute quantity available to a specific user, the time(s) of day when it is available...

Lesson learned: sugar is bad for you :) Yeah, seems you escaped the worst. Anything shorted out by liquid would be dead by now. Seems like all you have is sticky or contact-blocked keys.

I always thought the only place to get an authorized BIOS for a Dell, HP, Gateway, whatever brand was from that manufacturer's web site. Since there are no BIOS downloads for that notebook on the Gateway site, from my perspective it seems you are out of luck.

If you google Matshita UJ841S there are pages of references, and no one mentions Bluray. Ask Toshiba...
