Thank you so much for responding. Yes, I can literally turn on the phone at this point. However, it does not boot itself up. The screen just displays HTCC and then goes dark.

My Droid has been slipping away over the past week-one function at a time. My biggest concern is retrieving lost photos. The phone powers on, but does not reboot itself. This is storage beyond the SD card. And no I did not back up and yes next time I will. Any wizardry out there that can help?
