Still having issues with this.. Screen becomes bright when changing the picture mode then goes right back to dim.. Anyone please help!

I have a Samsung 48 inch smart 3D tv. The screen is going dim. Not to dim to where it's not visible, and the LEDs still light up. The screen is just rather dark. When I first turn it on it lights up just fine. Then after about 5 seconds it goes dim as if it's stuck in a dim mode. I've done all...
