    Hdmi from laptop to TV malfunctioning

    My hdmi worked perfectly till I opened a PowerPoint program. Ever since the desktop wallpaper is all that shows and I can't see what am doing on the laptop on the TV anymore, I only see the desktop wallpaper with even the taskbar
