I had the same problem, tried to uninstall the driver for touchpad but that did not help, then I did a driver rollback to previous driver that picked up a driver from PS2 Compliant Mouse rather than the specialty driver from 6/21/2006 and it works perfectly. Not sure what is missing but I can at...
