That's actually making sense. the GT820M is a VERY weak GPU with 14.4GB/s of memory bandwidth, even a dual-channel DDR3 @1600MHz has 25.6GB/s. I bet that by taking the resolution down the GT820M will still outpreform the HD 4400 by 40-50%. it's just not built for high resolutions.
