    i have tested the hard drive and is fine but when there is no hard drive in the laptop and u load windows xp from disk it cums up as unallocated space

    i have a toshiba c660 and my bios does not detect my hard drive. but when a hard drive [is not inserted] and u run on an external hard drive to load windows it picks up a drive with unallocated space and wont go away
