I tried it with both hooked up and with just red output from speakers to red input of sub. Couldn't hear any difference. So I think the solution you (kanewolf) gave is correct. Thanks. -

Hooking up Audioengine A2+ speakers to a Pioneer SDW1K Sub. The sub has two RCA jacks. One says input (red), the other says output (white). The A2+ has a red and white RCA output. I have the red hooked to the sub red and the A2+'s white hooked to the sub white. Is this correct hook up ?
