What are you trying to play the sound out of? Try right clicking on the speaker icon in the task bar, then selecting "Recording Devices" Now find the sound card you have your audio device plugged into, e.g. VIA HD Audio, or Realtek. I have a USB Microphone, the Rode NT USB, so that is what mine...
