I wouldn't say that Y2K was over hyped. If it wasn't for the hype there would have been a greater impact. We were actually impacted the DNS changer issue at work yesterday. It wasn't our PC's that we're the problem but appearently there was a server somewhere in the network chain that...

It would probably get used even more if it could play Blu-Ray movies. I initially purchased my PS3 solely as a Blu-Ray player. At the time it was one of the cheapest Blu-Ray capable devices and being a game console has received continual firmware updates unlike most Blu-Ray players.

I'm not quite sure I'm following their point. March 31st is a Saturday. Wall Street and most banks are not even active at this time. I realize that there's probably more internet traffic on Saturdays but I think it would make more sense to strike when you intended targets are most active...

The have a blog at mystmovie.com. I've been following it for the past three years. Rand Miller is so impressed with their work that he has offered them the movie rights for free. Here's hoping that they get picked up by a studio soon so they can really get into production.

I think the only reason that Blu-ray has't taken off more is that most people don't yet have HD TV's. Given the high price of HD TV's and the current state of the economy, this isn't likely to change anytime soon.

Digital Downloads are fine if you like paying for a movie everytime you want to watch it. If you keep all your downloads on your HD but even with TB drives you will eventually run out of space and you'll have to either delete movies or off load them to some external storage. Makes more sense...

So basically.. sounds like she was SPAMing people. For those of you the support her cause.. let me get this straight. You think it's ok to SPAM as long as you have a good cause?

I think I'll stick with the rom my friend downloaded for free. Much more cost effective
