    I can when I use an external monitor. I would rather not use one though.

    acer laptop only boot up screen is black

    When I boot up my laptop, the boot up screen is black, then It goes to the windows login page and It is visible. When I put an external monitor on it, I can see the boot up screen, it's only on the laptop that it's black. Any ideals would be appreciated.
