    I fixed it. I deleted the SoftwareDistribution folder and cleared up just enough space.

    Perhaps your Laptop battery is faulty and needs to be replaced. Last time I had a faulty battery on my laptop, it was no longer putting out enough voltage and it would shut down unexpectedly. Does your laptop shut off even when its plugged in?
