It boots up without the battery. So it's time to replace the battery. Whew! Thank you so much!

I've read through some of the other threads on this issue, but none seem to apply to my situation. I noticed that the laptop, which is 4 years old, won't charge. The green light on the charger doesn't light up, so I figured the charger died. Got a replacement charger, and it still won't...
